Clowne Town Cricket Club held a junior presentation evening on saturday 1st of March.

>All the juniors who had took the bronze and silver proficiency awards received their certificates and badges.

The night itself was a great success with pie and peas, several games of stand up bingo and a family fun quiz.

The family quiz involved several rounds of questions based on Sport, Tv & Film, Looney Toons, General Knowledge and a Picture Round.

This was a fun event with much sharing of information going on between the youngsters and the parents especially in the Looney Toons round. There were no official prizes for the winners but we did present a booby prize for the team brave enough to own up to getting the lowest score.

The club are hoping to run this type of evening once a month in the winter months so any ideas for future rounds or other types of bingo games would be welcome.
