MIDWEEK TOURING SIDES
Tomorrow ( Wednesday ) sees Hythe play their first midweek touring match of the season when they welcome Twyford House from the west country to Jones Lane for a 2pm start.
Twyford House play in the West of England Premier League and currently lie fourth in the Bristol & N/Somerset Division.
They are bringing down 19 players on a two match tour which also includes playing Wareham on Thursday so the bar should be busy.
In the past few seasons Hythe have had some cracking midweek games and despite on occasions having to field a weakend side we have always managed to give a good account of ourselves.
Richie ( sweep ) Froggett captains the side tomorrow ( I will continue calling him that until he gives up that ridiculous reverse sweep or gets better at it ) in a side which includes Alan Taylor back for his first game after key hole surgery and Nirmal Joy for his Hythe debut.
