HYTHE & DIBDEN COLTS CRICKET
WEEK 4 - 28th May
UNDER 15'S Vs MUDEFORD
Hythe can be commended for competing so well with only 10 men but once again their batting let them down after setting themselves up nicely and reducing Mudeford to only 73 for 8 off 18 overs.
Lee Powell captain for the day was the main destroyer taking 3 wickets for only 14 runs off 3 overs. He was well supported by Tom Richards who stepped up from the under 13's to take 2 for 7 off 2 overs.
When it came to batting Hythe never got going and no player managed to get into double figures.
Lee Powell topped scored with 5 and unfortunately Hythe only batted with nine players.
In the end Hythe were well beaten 50 Runs and are still looking for that illusive first win.
