HYTHE & DIBDEN COLTS CRICKET
COLTS REVIEW - WEEK 4.
UNDER 13's & 17's
Hythe Under 13's match Vs Bashley Ryadal once again fell lame to the weather.
But the Under 17's managed to get their game on down at Jones Lane against a
very strong Bashley Rydal outfit.
Under 17's Vs BASHLEY RYDAL
Toss Won by : Hythe
Playing against a very strong Bashley outfit, Russell Moore skipper for the day,
won the toss and elected to field.
Hythe bowled and fielded well and restricted Bashley to 95 for 5 off their 18 overs.
Russell Moore and Lee Powell both bowled 3 overs for only 7 runs whilst direct throws from Tom Porter and Adam Talbot produced two run outs. Pete Stevens picked up 2 wickets late on.
In reply Hythe were always ging to find it hard against a Bashley attack who had several lads with senior experience under their belts for a few years.
Things were made harder when Tom Porter was out the first ball he faced. Only Matt Howe 11 and James Page ( playing his first game of the season ) 16* showed any resistance as Hythe finished on 48 for 5 off their 18 overs.
Innings of : BASHLEY RYDAL 95 for 5 ( 18 Overs)
