Saturday First XI Match Vs Wimbourne
15th April
Despite the drizzly conditions for most of the afternoon,
Hythe recorded an impressive victory over their Dorset opponents.
Three wickets a piece for Whitlock and Wright plus a firey 8 overs and two wickets from Nardus Grobler reduced the home side to 140 all out.
In reply despite losing Matt Howe early Ben Kendrick 56 and Sean Tongs 57* made easy going of the deflated Wimbourne attack and Hythe got home with 12 overs spare.
