Evidence to Hythe 3rd XI's respectable 10th pace finish was in the South West 3 averages where Dan Pates finished 2nd in the batting averages & Ian Prentice 2nd in the bowling.

Hythe 3rd XI finished a respectable 10th in South West 3 last season and boasted having the second top batsman & bowler in the league.

Dan Pates finished second in the batting his 491 runs 57 behind D.Message of Bournemouth.

Ian Prentice finished second in the bowling table behind S.Elsom of Langley Manor by 1 wicket. Well done too to Sam Page who finished 11th.
