Hythe 1's continued their Indoor League revival with their third win on the bounce against Sarisbury Stingarys.

With Matt Howe, Richard Last & Harry Smith returning to the side - skipper Matt Howe won the toss and elected to field first. 21 came off the first 3 overs before Tom Arnold had Challis caught & bowled in the 4th. Scott & Edwards then added 37 off the next 3 overs as Sarisbury reached 58 for 1 at the half way stage. With Scott retiring the game changed in the 9th over when Guymer run out Mitcheson for 5

Three more quick wickets then followed - Matt Howe caught & bowled Edwards for 16 - that was followed up by Anderson holing out to Last off Howe for 0. Pye was then bowled by Matt Young for 0 and when the returning Scott was run out by Fonzy - Sarisbury had gone from 84 for 1 to 89 all out. For Hythe Matt Howe's 2-11 off 2 was the pick of the bowling

Hythe opened with the explosive partnership of Arnold & Guymer. 25 came off the first 10 balls but most of that was extras from the wayward Stingrays. They did however split the partnership when Arnold was caught off Anderson for 7.

Shortly afterwards Hythe were two down when Guymer was ct & bd Mitcheson for 2. - Hythe 29 for 2

Matt Howe & Matt Young then added 50 for the 3rd wicket in just 4.3 overs. 79 for 3 when Young was caught off Edwards for 20. Harry Smith 3* joined Howe 20* to knock off the winning runs with 25 balls remaining. The result moves Hythe upto 4th. They now face leaders Peartree next week.
