| HYTHE UNDER 17's vs DAMERHAM |
26th July @ Jones Lane
| UNDER 17's FINISH SEASON IN STYLE |
Hythe Under 17's completed their league season with a comfortable 39 run win over Damerham.
Hythe finish in 6th place with a 2-2-2 record.
Final game of the season saw the return of Chalmers - Bidwell - Jones & Jason Shorto. What a shame they weren't available more throughout the season and this side would have done well.
Hythe reached 113 for 4 off their 18 overs thanks largely to 40 from Elliott Carley. Chalmers 23 & Jason Shorto 16* also played their part along with 30 extras from the Damerham bowlers.
In reply Damerham struggled aginst the early fire power from Hythe's Josh Mead & Alex Nicholas who picked up the first wicket. Ollie Pike chipped in with the wicket of Hillier for 10 but his one over went for 19 as the two Hythe spinners (JKO) got hit for 33 off 2 overs. Chalmers came on to take 3 wickets - Jones bowled the dangerous Hill for 28. Hythe impressive in the field as Carley & Chalmers were responsible for run outs - Damerham finishing on 74 for 8.
