SUNDAY FRIENDLY
| HYTHE SUN XI vs PEARTREE |
Sunday 10th June
| Rain Spoils Tough Challenge |
 |
| Shaun ANDERSON 37* |
You know when conditions aren't good when the Colonal's sipping tea whilst umpiring instead of Carlsberg. With the game evenly set up the persistant drizzle got heavier and the captains agreed to stop the game. This after Peartree had batted first and Jamie Meredith had made 107* in Peartree's 206-9.
Hythe opened with Saturdays dot ball specialists Tongs & Anderson and after Tongs had gone for 5 - bowled by Faisal - Anderson and Zac Millar put on an unbeaten 68 in 13 overs when the game was stopped. Anderson finishing on 37* Millar 19*
Certainly a game we'd like back next year.
