Hythe 1's vs Bransgore
 |
| Rampant Hythe Set Up Final Day Title Match |
Hythe 1's smashed 181 off their 12 overs to set up a comfortable 54 run win over Bransgore. Hythe mow go into their table topping match with Paultons next week 11 points behind the Champions.
Determined Hythe knowing 150+ was needed to secure good batting points - looked for the boundaries straight from the off. James Page smashed 48* inc 2x6's whilst their were very good contributions for Rob James 27*, Matt Young 28* and Dave Guymer 20.
Hythe ideally needed 6 Bransgore wickets to keep the pressure on Paultons but the Dorset side batted cautiously to begin with- hitting the ceiling more than the side walls. Butcher 26 & Mitchell 29* frustrated the Hythe bowlers and with Donaldson 15* at the end Bransgore finished on 127-3.
Matt Howe was Hythe's most economical bowler 0-29 off 3. A good effort by the Hythe lads and if you can get across to Priestlands next Sunday it should be a great finale to the Indoor League campaign.
