Sad news has reached us today in that Mary Woodhouse has sadly passed away.

Loving wife of Tony - Mary spent over 50 years doing the Sunday teas at Hythe first for her dad Walt Bell who captained the side in the late fifties and then for Tony.

She enjoyed travelling to away games and the club tours, sitting in her chair and reading a book whilst Tony was in the field. A number of years afterwards she would remember incidents that happened in a game better than Tony could.

For anyone that knew her - Tony and Mary were inseparable and if there is any consolation from this very sad news - its that now the two of them can be together again.

A lovely lady - fantastic couple who will always be remembered by the club.
