Hythe Under 14's vs TROJANS
Played @ Fleming Park
| Woodsy's Lads Given Indoor Lesson |
 |
| Sam KELLY 14* |
Unbeaten Trojans gave Hythe Under 14’s a lesson in Indoor batting as they cruised to a 6 wkt win last Sunday chasing down Hythe's 108 in just 8.3 overs. Archie Gilbert and Freddie Molyneux got the green caps off to a steady start - putting on 52 for the 1st wicket in 7 overs. The rest of the lads had to up the pace but only Sam Kelly 14* made it into double figures.
Woodsy mentioned that the Trojans batsman demonstrated - how indoor batting should be done but he did say Hythe had their chances including a couple of close calls by the umpire which didn't go our way. Jake Larkin was the pick of the Hythe bowlers.
