Hythe Under 14's vs New Forest
Played @ Fleming Park
Pikey's Picks Up 4 Wkts In Tough Opener For Under 14's
 |
| Ollie Pike 4-31 |
For years all i've heard from the senior players is that the Indoor game isn't for bowlers. Tell that to Ollie Pike - 3 overs 4 for 31. Great performance.
It was a first venture into Indoor League Cricket in whats going to be a tough season for the Under 14's. Playing 4 Southern League Colts sides and the New Forest Rep side will be quite a challenge.
First up on Sunday was the Forest rep side which included Hythe skipper Ali Bryers. The Green Caps were great in the field and reduced the Forest to 122 all out. Ollie Pike was the star 4-31 off his three overs. Hythe though couldn't repeat the fine form with the bat and were all out for 42.
