HYTHE XI vs GREAT HOUGHTON (Northants)
B/H Monday 30th August
Tourists Provide Great Opposition For Final Game at Hythe
 |
| Matt YOUNG 94 |
Hythe's final home game of the season proved great fun as the Northants tourists came to Jones Lane with a party of 24 - the most this season. On the Pitch Great Houghton batted first scoring 213 all out. Colonel Saunders took 5-28 and Kev McCarthy 3-23.
Hythe recovered after losing Bargey early Matt Young scoring a super 94 and Zac Millar 45. With 120 for 2 on the board and needing 6 an over - Hythe looked in charge but the Northants side bounced back and Hythe collapsed 197 all out. - Great Houghton win by 16 runs.
The tourists then did us a great favour and hit the bar.
Details very vague thanks to Jonjo's copying up and the lack of people wanting to score.
