Up & Coming Stars Too Strong For Past Masters.

Team Photo to Come
A good crowd on a lovely evening turned up to watch Woody's 1994 team mates take on 'The Future' of the club plus Kev on Friday evening.
Past Captains of Woody - Ian Kenworthy and Tony North turned up to umpire as well.
The bonus was we almost got in the full 40 overs as well before the umpires read the light metres with two balls to go and took the players off for a drawn game.
As expected the present day side batted first where Zac Millar 33 and Matt Young 25* had to retire on 25. Pete Stevens was chuffed to bit when bowling Tom Richards for 12 and Chalky White did a cartwheel after bowling Millar two balls after being hit out the park. Pat masters Pete Jessney and Chris Tona took a wicket each whilst Martin Anderson only let one bye through !!! The Present Day side making 146 for 9 off their 20 overs.
The Past Masters opened with Kev Glass and Bellie. Both players getting off to good starts and having to retire. Tona smashed a six off Jonjo which Chris remember til next year. Jonjo bowled Froggett so he's got something to brag about. McCarthy ran out Anderson with great youthfulness which had everyone shocked. Matt Howe then ran out Tongs and Bowman as the past masters fell behind the run rate. Past Masters 124 for 7 at the close when light prevailed.
Good game in the the closing weeks of the year and one which Woody would have enjoyed.
