Hampshire South West 3
SUTTONERS Vs HYTHE 3rd XI
Saturday 30th July
Sorry Start by Hythe Leads Way To Heavy Defeat
 |
| Tom HUXLEY 67 |
An hour and a half in traffic didn't help the 3rds cause but their first 20 overs in the field cost them as the home side rattler up 129 for 1 off the first 20. Hythe fought their way back into the game with Elliott Carley taking 3-18 but Suttoners still amassed 232 for 6 off their 42 overs on a damp slow wicket.
Hythe's batting once again let them down and bot for a splendid 67 from Tom Huxley - the green caps would have struggled to 60. Hythe all out for 121. Huxleys 67 inc 6x4's & 3x6's.
With one win still required for safety - Hythe need to find some batting form.
