PHIL PICK MEMORIAL TROPHY TONIGHT

  Phil Pick

50 years service to our club - Never to be forgotten

After a very sad weekend for the club - Tonight (Monday Evening) sees Hythe Under 13's battle for silverware as they entertain Langley Manor for the Phil Pick Trophy @ Jones Lane - 6.30pm.

The game comes just 5 days after Langley beat Hythe in the League by 9 Runs.

The Trophy which was donated by Phil back in 2003 after 50 years service to the club. Langley Manor won the trophy on the first five occasions. Hythe though have won it for the last two years.

As well as the Trophy - There will be two man of the match awards - One for each side (nominated by the oppositions coach)

In normal tradition there will then be a team photo of both sides together for the Herald and Lymington Times

The evening will however commence with the boys lined up for a minutes silence in memory of our Chairman and good friend Woody who sadly passed away on Friday aged just 44.
