Hythe Under 13's posted another win to move into 5th place in the South Division table. This time it was against local neighbours Fawley.
Ali Bryers once again asked the opposition to bat - and the Hythe bowlers again put in a decent shift with the ball as they reduced the home side to 58 for 9 off their 18 overs. Jake Larkin & Ali Bryers took two wickets a piece.
In reply the Green Caps took just 9 overs to achieve their target with Ollie Pike in commanding form with the bat. Hythe reached 19 in 4 overs when they lost Jacob Mould for 2. Pike and Freddie Molyneux then carried the score to 46 in the 8th over when Molyneux became Fawleys second wicket. Molyneux fell for 9 after just hitting two boundaries.
Ollie Pike 30 not out and Archie Gilbert 1 not out saw Hythe home with 9 overs remaining.
