HYTHE SUNDAY 2nd vs LANGLEY MANOR
Sunday 3rd July
Hythe Youngsters Feel The Heat
 |
| Sam LONG 53 |
On the hotest day of the year so far - Hythe Sun 2nd XI entertained Langley Manor at Jones Lane. The opposition new that Hythe would be very youthful without their touring players but obviously the message didn't get to the skipper.
Langley Manor posted 309 all out the higest total recorded by a visiting side to Jones Lane since 1988 when Old Tauntonians posted 340. But fair play to the young Green Caps they kept going and scored 154 all out in reply with Sam Long scoring 53 and Josh Mead 28.
