Hythe 2nd XI made it 3 wins in 3 with a comprehensive 7 wicket win @ Fernhills.
New Milton won the the toss and elected to bat first. Nichols and Neal put on 86 for the 1st wicket before the scooby doos lost 4 wickets for just 23 runs. The spin twins White and Luke Mills kept Hythe well in the game - Mills taking 3-39 off his 10 overs. D.Crossley and his son Will added 34 for the 6th wicket and New Milton were 177 for 6 at the close.
Hythe in reply started well through Sean Tongs and Mike Bowman adding 61 for the first wicket before Tongs was caught & bowled for 45. James Page made a quick 10 before being bowled by Wakefield.- Hythe 83 for 2. But the skipper was going well and he and Mills added 73 for the 3rd wicket before Mills was caught off Waller for 22. Bowman 73* and Bell 9* saw Hythe home with 22 balls remaining and to 22 points
