CALMORE SPORTS vs HYTHE UNDER 13's
19th May @ Jones Lane
Under 13's Promising Start Fading
 |
| Ben FENTON 3-23 |
Hythe Under 13's latest league game saw them visit Loperwood and current Under 13 cup holders - Calmore Sports.
The home side batted first and the Green Caps did well to reduce them to 91 for 5 which would have been much better but for 23 wides. Ben Fenton was the highlight of the bowling - taking 3 for 23 off 4 overs. Sam Kelly was Hythe's most economical bowler - 4 overs 1-12. There was also a good performance behind the stumps from Archie Gilbert with a catch, 1 stumping and just 4 byes going through.
In reply Hythe were shot out for just 30 in 15 overs with some very good bowling from Calmore's 5 bowlers. Archie Gilbert topped scored with 9.
Batting Batting Batting !!! Guys - The new cage is there all netted up - get down the ground and practise. The practise strip is the nearest one from the clubhouse. Just ask Hux, Sean or Chiv if the cage is available.
