| Tom LADBURY 6 for 9 |
Hythe Under 13's opened their league campaign with an emphatic 9 wkt victory over Sway at Jubillee Fields. The Green Caps dismissed the home side for just 57 in 16 overs thanks to a Colts Club Record - 6 for 9 from Tom Ladbury. Ali Bryers also bowled very well taking 3 for 8 off 4 overs and Matt Bennett took two good catches.
Hythe in reply took just 11 overs to reach their target - losing just one wicket in the process - Sam Kelly caught off the bowling of Jones. Archie Gilbert carried his bat to 31 not out whilst Jacob Mould finished 4 not out - Hythe taking a maximum 20 points.
Next week could be slightly trickier as Hythe take on Bashley Rydal 'A' @ Jones Lane.
