Sat 23rd April - Hythe 2nd XI @ Curdridge
This season Hythe will take a team of 2nd & 3rd XI players to Reading Room Lane for their annual fixture vs Curdridge.
Always a good fixture on a good wicket it will be a tough ask for the Green Caps whose opposition return to Regional South 1 after one season in County 4. Several players have left Curdridge during the winter but skipper Craig Proctor will have to be got out early.
With several key players missing Mike Bowmans side includes the welcome return of Dave Guymer.
Last Season a combined Hythe 1st / 2nd XI played Curdridge -
Curdridge 170 for 8 (R.Froggett 3-36, R.Saunders 3-45) Lost to Hythe XI 172 for 2 (S.Dixon 93*, M.Howe 49) by 8 Wkts

Sun 24th April - Hythe Sun XI @ Coombe Bissett

Sunday sees Hythe return to Shutts Lane for their annual fixture vs Coombe Bissett.
The game was touch and go as the home side were concerned up until a few weeks ago - if they would continue playing but we are pleased to say they are.
On their day the Wiltshire side can put out a very decent side and it could be a good pre season test.
Skipper Rob Saunders makes 4 changes from the said that drew with Bishops Waltham - unavailable are Alex McMillian, Matt Howe, Luke Mills and Harry Smith.
Last Seasons game in cold conditions could have gone either way -
Coombe Bissett 146 for 9 (L.Mills 3-14, J.Stovell 2-22) Lost to Hythe XI 148 for 5 (L.Mills 45*,T.Richards 25, M.Young 24*) by 5 Wkts
