GROUND UPDATE

The rolling across the wickets has been completed and Woody fertilized the square.

Thanks with the help of Russell and Pete Stevens - the bowlers marks have been lifted and levelled out and Sean has marked out the pitches. All we now need is rain !!!

Mike has cleared the debris from under the oak tree but now it needs levelling with some top soil from the bags inside the gate - Any Volunteers

So its now onto rolling next weeks wickets. So If you have a spare hour let Woody, Sean or Chiv know as it will be much appreciated.

DATES FOR HANDOVER

The official date for the ground to be handed over to the Cricket Section is May 1st.

However we have asked to have it back on Saturday 30th April as we have a 2nd XI pre season friendly vs Bishops Waltham. Then the following day we have our first Colts game and Sunday XI Fixture.

The linesmans run needs to be turfed and the floodlight holes filled and we need some rain desperately for the outfield.

Saturday morning we could do with all hands on deck as we need to get the clubhouse ship shape for mid day.

Plenty to think about - and support needed.
