HYTHE UNDER 17's @ CRANBOURNE
Thursday 18th June
Harry's One Man Show In Nightmare Evening
Harry SMITH - 44
Hythe Under 17's travelled into Dorset to play their latest New Forest league game. A nightmare journey in rush hour was followed by a crap artificial wicket and a awful Hythe performance which saw only Harry Smith really turn up.
Fair play to the team though - They could have easily pulled out of the fixture after struggling to get a side and transport together.
The home side batted first and slaughtered their way to 146 for 1 off their 18 overs. Luke Blackwell taking the only wicket to fall.
Ten man Hythe in reply mustered only 71 all out and that was thanks to 44 from Harry Smith. No other player got into double figures as Hythe lost by 75 runs and then had the long journey home..
