DE JAGER SINKS TOURISTS WITH HELP FROM WOODSY
Andrew WOODS (Pie Chucker) 3-32
Hythe kicked off their 40 over midweek touring games with a win against Town Malling from Kent. Hythe skippered by Adie de Jager scored 175 for 9 off their 40 overs after being out into bat. But the Kent side (and the watching crowd) weren't expecting the tourists to struggle against the Hythe ' pie chucker' - Andy Woods 3-32 off 6 and with de Jager at the other end capping off a fine day 52 & 408 Hythe won by 27 runs.
