Four wickets a piece for Jon Weall and Rob Saunders, well supported by Richie Froggett 1-31 off 10 and Ben Kendrick 1-32 off 10. Wealls four took him past the 30 wickets for the season - great effort.

With no Edwards or Tongs Rob James gambled by opening with Jon Weall. who had moved above him in the averages. Two balls later though Weall was walking back to the changing rooms for 0. With just 10 needed Page brought up his first league fifty and soon after Froggett hit the winning runs with 10 overs remaining. Froggett ending 74 not out including 11x4's and a six - Page 52* inc 7x4's.

24 points and Hythe finish with a 3 match winning run. Well done to the skipper Robbie James for taking over after Dixies injury and keeping his head despite all the injuries to the side, and umpire Trevor Vaughan - who has supported the side all season. Undoubtedly Richie Froggett deserves great credit for his performances with the bat this year as well as the ball, Kev James behind the stumps and Weallo and Rob Saunders with the ball.
