PYLEWELL PARK Vs HYTHE UNDER 15'S
28th June @ Pylewell
Hythe Under 15's Crash By 4 Runs @ Pylewell
![]() |
| Matt YOUNG 33 |
Hythe without the influencial Harry Smith fancied their chances against Pylewell Park on Sunday. The home sdei batted first and made 82 for 6 off their 18 overs with Zac Millar the picik of the bowlers 2-12 off 4. Kieran Chalmers 1-16 off 4 also bowled well. Hythe Manager Sally Harding stressed though that the Hythe fielding wasn't on par with recent weeks.
Hythe opened their innings with Matt Young and Nick Shrive knowing that if they could stay there for 10 overs then the win was on. Sadly Shrive went for 5 and apart from Matt Young (33) the rest of the side failed to reach double figures and Hythe lost by 4 runs.
A disappointing result considering the fine wins Hythe have gained of late. Without question had Harry have been there then the green caps would have been celebrating.
