ANNOUNCED AS NEW SPONSOR

I am pleased to announce that SMS Supplies, the local operating company of New Milton Sand & Ballast have agreed to sponsor Hythe & Dibden Cricket Club for the 2009 season.

The Companies General Manger Chris Weall, father of Hythe first teamer Jon Weall, says ’Our centre of operation is based at Holbury, where we have currently a small facility for waste reception and building aggregates. NSMB is gradually expanding its operation out of its traditional base, by using local names backed by the overall group. Steve Perrins supplies was purchased last year based in Ringwood and we have purchased WG Hibbs & Co in New Milton recently. SMS is being used to expand our operations on the waterside and into Southampton.

Hythe’s commitment to the generous sponsorship will be to help spread the name of our sponsors through the website and local papers.

With this in mind Hythe have already put together a selection of new kit designs, which include the new sponsors logo for all our members young and old.

Hythe are very grateful to ABP Associated British Ports in Southampton who have sponsored them for the past six years. Whits has stated that they are cutting down on their sponsoring this year and is unsure if they will be able to continue their partnership with Hythe & Dibden.
