LEAGUE PYRAMID LATEST - Disappointment For Brockenhurst
Brockenhurst have received a Double Relegation due to problems with their ground which now means they will be playing Hythe 2nd XI in South West 2 next year. Brockenhurst who finished 16th in County 4 South will be disappointed with the decision but if they can keep hold of their players they should be strong candidates for the title. To compensate for this - North Baddesley who finished 4th in South West 2 last year - have been moved across into South East 2.
This now means of course The Second XI will have 6 new opponents this year - Brockenhurst, then theirs Ampfield who were relegated from South West 1. Burley, New Milton III & Milford on Sea were promoted as expected from South West 3 along with Verwood who were given an extra promotion spot.
The latest changes make no impact on County 2 where there were no surprises for our First XI - As the expected three sides Lymington II , Pylewell Park and Flamingo were relegated from County 1..
Promoted upto County 2 will be Basingstoke & N.Hants, Old Basing and East Tytherley.
