TIME TO ANSWER CHURCHIES QUESTION ? WHO ARE THE TWENTY20 KINGS ON THE WATERSIDE

Churcie in the quest to drum up players for his Fawley side asked the question on the Fawley website - Who are the Kings of Twenty20 on the Waterside this year? - Hythe now get the chance to respond tomorrow evening.

In contrast to last year Hythe have had a good year against its arch rivals with The Green Caps winning 5 of the 7 games played. All the colts sides (4 matches ) were won whilst the Tony Woodhouse game also resulted in a victory for Hythe. We held on in the Sunday fixture for a draw and Froggie and Rob saw us to a tie in the last Twenty20 played last month.

This will be the toughest encounter yet as Fawley are fresh from scoring 355 for 5 at the weekend against Calmore in County 1. Andy Parratt (155) and Rob Leach (124) put on a 255 wicket partnership whilst Dave Morgan (4-34) knocked out Calmore for 145. Lets hope Chalky can get Mr.Parratt early again.

On paper Hythe go into the side with a top heavy batting line up and slightly weak on bowling. Michael Graham plays his first Twenty20 for the club whilst with Tony North behind the stumps skipper Robbie James may use brother Kev as a bowler.
