New Milton Too Strong For Hythe Under 15's

Hythe Under 15's were swept a side in just 6 overs by a very strong and organised New Milton side this morning.

New Milton surprisingly won the toss and elected to field first. Hythe lost Jonjo Stovell and Tom Richards very early and never recovered.

Sam Mead top scored with 10 and only Harry Smith 7 and Matt Young 5* got more than 1 run as Hythe finished on a disappointing 39 for 9 off their 18 overs.

Credit to the Hythe players as they fought back in the field claiming 3 New Milton wickets before the home side reached their target in just 6 overs. Sam Mead took a good catch off the bowling of Harry Smith and Hythe produced 2 run outs.

A disappointing result for Hythe against one of the top three clubs in the Forest.

CLUB POLICY

Could I ask all parent to please support the coaches in what they do and especially around the players.

If anyone thinks that they can do better as a coach then great let us know - we'll even put you forward for coaching courses but the coaches put a lot of their own time into running their teams and are valued by the club
