'TIBS' UP FOR THE CHALLENGE

Tom Porter

After a strong Indoor League Season Tom Porter was chuffed to bits to hear that Mike Bowman has a spot waiting for him in the Seconds this year.

Tom's happy to give up his Saturday job to prove himself at league level and says he's really looking forward now to pre season.

Tom averaged 38.50 with the bat in the Indoor League and from a very good partnership with Wayne Effeny late on in the season to help the 2'S win the Indoor League.

Tom now hopes to emulate Matt Howe's first season in Senior Cricket where he scored 123 runs in 9 innings @ 20.50

Tom says he's up for the challenge and believe's he can beat Matty's first season.

Good luck to Tom in his quest - another first teamer in the making

From April 1st all sportnetwork sites will receive a money share of the advertising revenue on their sites. Hits on content or story pages will generate  a higher return income than hits on message boards - approximately five times more for a content page hit than a message board hit.  This is to reflect the advertising industry's overwhelming preference for placing ads on sites with good content, and their reluctance to advertise on sites which they see as message board driven. So, the more news and features content on your site the quicker your revenue will increase.
