Hythe First’s in the new County 4 division had a good season finishing 8th, new overseas bat Lee Fraser scored 450 runs from just 7 games before mysteriously going back to Aus, but Simon Wright continued his fine run of form with the bat finishing 6th the league averages & Skipper Paul Whitlock as dominant as ever, finished 3rd in the league bowling averages. The side also reached the Presidents Cup Final beating Southern League Calmore Sports on the way.
The Second XI finished in a respectable mid table position but owed a big thanks to Aussie Dave Ryan who topped the regional bowling averages and scored plenty of runs. The Sunday XI were impressive with both bat and ball, Paul Whitlock & Steve Chiverton topping the respective averages.
