HYTHE & DIBDEN CRICKET CLUB
UNDER 15'S Vs SWAY
11th July @ Sway
STEADMAN TOO GOOD FOR HYTHE
Sally once again re-arranged one of the Under 15 league matches that was washed out erlier in the season to give the lads more matches. At the end of the day the lads let her down with a disappointing performance with the bat.
Hythe fielded first and despite good spells from Ben Smith 4-0-11-2 and Russ Melton 4-0-13-2 the rest of the bowlers gave away too many extras.
Sway finished their 18 overs on 102 for 8 with the wickets spread around for Hythe.
After the change around Hythe struggled in the sun ( or thats the excuse of the batsman ). Only Ben Smith 11 made double figures and the whole team struggled against D.Steadman who took 4 wickets.
Sally would like to thank super sub Josh Mead for helping out when players fail to show.
Sway won toss
