HYTHE & DIBDEN CRICKET CLUB
UNDER 13'S Vs TOTTON & ELING 'B'
Hythe rounded off their league season with a disappointing defeat to Totton & Eling 'B' by 8 Wickets.
Hythe batted first for a change and made slow progress against some slowish but straight bowling, and a well-positioned fielding display from the young Totton & Eling side.
Matt Young again top scored with 20 but only Charlie Crane 11* of the other batsman reached double figures..
Totton & Eling got home with 2 overs to spare with Harry Smith being the best of the Hythe bowlers taking 1-9 off 4 and Drew Lindsey took a catch..
The team have played with great team spirit all season, and have shown some great promise. Sally reckons we have some very interesting young players for the future.
