Fawley Too Strong For The Green Caps
A thunderstorm nearly put paid to Hythe's first 20:20 game of the season, as it turned out the game was successfully reduced to 18 overs a side.
A strong Fawley side was to good for Hythe as they amassed 187 in their 18 overs. In reply Hythe could only manage 120, with Tom Gates the pick of the Hythe batting. The only other peformances of any note was a superb juggling catch on the boundary ropes by Alan Taylor. YES Alan Taylor.
The ever reliable Sean Tongs picked up 2 catches, a run out as well as 21 runs and Matt Howe also picked up a catch and a run out.
