BASHLEY RYDAL 'A' Vs UNDER 13'S
BASHLEY BATTING TOO STRONG FOR HYTHE
Coach Sally Harding was very honest when she said that her team were beaten by a much stronger batting and fielding side.
Bashley batted first and chalked up a big 147 for 4 off their 18 overs.
All the Hythe bowlers found it hard going on the artificial surface but their were rewards for Harry Smith, Todd Powell Chris Griffin and Charlie Crane with 1 wicket a piece.
Griffin also picked up a catch as did Matt Young behind the stumps and Nick Shrive.
Despite the high total to chase Hythe recorded one of their largest scores on record this despite dropping Matt Young down the order to give others a chance.
Ben Smith batted through till he had to retire on 31 not out and was the only Hythe player to reach double figures but Hythe stuck in there and reached 77 for 5 off their 18 overs.
They now have to record these sort of scores against the minor teams and they should start winning games.
