UNDER 13'S Vs SWAY
SALLY DISAPPOINTED AS UNDER 13's LOSE OUT
The Under 13's opening game of the season ended in a 70 run defeat at the hands of Sway on Thursday Evening.
Manager Sally Harding wasn't expecting to win as the side included several new players from the team that played last season, but she felt that it was a jaded performance from her team.
Sally's said ' We batted and bowled poorly but hopefully things will improve with more games under our belt. Matt Young was the exception taking two very good stumpings behind the wicket and being the only batsman to make double figures.
On the plus side Chris Griffin added his name onto the Stumpy Awards table when he knocked over the stumps during the Sway Innings.
