ONLY THREE CHANGES FOR HYTHE

Skipper Alan Taylor has surprisingly only made three changes for Sundays game against Sarisbury Athletic.

Into the side comes Sunday regulars Robbie James, Mike Bowman and Sean Tongs in replace of Gary Howe, Steve Chiverton and Luke Mills.

Al said he had received no calls from any other senior players to play so his job was made easier.

In future if anyone fancys a game then they need to call him 07748621477. We also have the option that if there are enough players next week we can find an extra game to put out two sides.

Sarisbury as always will be tough opposition. There season starts on the previous day so hopefully we should be playing their usual Sunday side. Unfortunately the Sarisbury square is not quite ready so they have informed us that the game will be played on artificial.

Lats weeks game at Locksheath whilst the result was not what we wanted there were certainly some positives to come out of the game.

Nardus bowled a good line and with good pace for the first game of the season. With the bat he was in blistering form and very disappointed with himself to get out when he did.

Darren Miller after a two year absence picked up 3 wickets and showed good signs of picking up his old form.

Gary Howe looked in good nick and timed the ball very well but the most pleasing aspect of the batting was the partnership between Russell Moore and particularly Tom Porter who gritted it out for 27 overs for his 39 runs.
