Debutants from left to right: Adam Brown, Will Hilditch, Jordan Foulds, Jake Linighan, Lee Maddison, Matt Siddle.
Lee Maddison was one of the stand-out players on the pitch on his return from Rovers, while all five of the other players making their debuts looked thoroughly at home.
17 year old Jake Linghan started in the second row alongside skipper Dan Boatman and pinched Rochdale's ball at the first line-out. He went to get 70 highly promising minutes under his belt and would have scored when he broke through the middle if he'd backed himself.
There was plenty of enterprise and excellent support throughout the game. Grounds for optimism not only for the firsts but also the Stags and The Colts.
