On the evening of 16th July 2011 many of our members and esteemed guests met together at Great Lumley Methodist Church to celebrate everyones achievements throughout the year. The evening began with a concert by Pantastic who were indeed fantastic. Then we enjoyed a three course meal cooked by the Lovely Ladies of Heavens Kitchen. We were waited on hand and foot by  our very smart waiters and waitresses. Then we went back into the church and then the real reason for being there began. The Awards. The awards were flying off the table for everyones achievements in swimming, boccia, football, athletics, judo, ten pin and we had various and assorted guests to present the awards and the awards didnt just stop at sporting achievements many of our members were presented with ASDAN certificates with some even earning a Cope Level qualification. Special thanks must go to Joanne Fearn who organised the actual awards giving. Thanks Joanne.Overall everyone had a great night an€d heres to another one next year!!!!!
