| LIMBERT GLAD TO BE BACK HOME |
 CONNAH'S Quay boss Neville Powell is one of several managers tracking Welsh Premier leading scorer Marc Lloyd Williams, who was not offered new terms by TNS at the end of last season.But Powell is delighted to have captured the signature of midfielder Marc Limbert who, in turn, is pleased to be back home. Limbert could have remained at Rhyl, or joined Colwyn Bay, but says a return to Deeside is something he has been 'pining for'. "It's great to be back at my home-town club," says the former Everton trainee. "I've not come back for the financial benefits. The club's only five minutes away from my house, but the reason I've come back is I want to start enjoying my football again. "I enjoyed my time at Rhyl, but, to be honest I've not enjoyed the football we've been playing. I don't like long ball. I like to get it down and play, and Nev wants that too." Powell has handed Limbert the captaincy and is also tracking released Tranmere duo Gary Lovell and Adam Dickinson, former Colwyn defenders Chris Roberts and Paul Morris, as well as former Bangor and Rhyl frontman Chris McGinn. |
