John Rushton - 17/05/90 Goalkeeper John came to us from West Cheshire club Manor United at the start of last season as cover but very quickly took the starting shirt and grew into the find of the season. Strong, confident and agile, he could go even further. Brother of Nicky who played for Newtown on loan from Wrexham last season.
| Ben Alston - 04/11/86 Defender Ben is a St Helens-born defender who played for St Helens and Congleton before joining gap Connah's Quay Nomads in July 2007. Equally at home at right back or in central defence, Ben has established himself with well over 100 appearances for the club. |
Ryan Jones Defender A strong centre half who is a real leader on the pitch. A great communicator and tackler who is also good in the air, Ryan has been captain the U 19s side for the last three seasons. Capped by the Wales Semi-Pro Youth team last season and was also a regular for North East Wales side. |
Jack Rowlands Defender Jack is a central defender who joined Nomads from Buckley Town. A former junior with Chester City, Jack also had Welsh Premier experience with Airbus UK, featuring in 21 league games. Strong in the tackle, he uses the ball well and impressed us whilst playing for The Bucks in season 2011/12.

Mark McGregor Defender Chester-born central defender who joined Nomads from Altrincham as player-manager in July 09. A Wrexham trainee, he signed a pro contract in ‘95 and after over 250 Football League games, he transferred to Burnley. Spells with Blackpool and Port Vale saw him total 423 League appearances. Adept in defence or midfield, Marks knowledge, experience and many contacts in football stands him in good stead in his Managerial and Coaching capacity with the Nomads
| Mike Robinson Defender Outstanding young defender. Strong, good in the air and consistent. Signed for Nomads from Llangefni but previously with Ruthin and Upton Athletic. After an excellent first season, much is expected from Robbo at Welsh Premier level. |
Defender A very strong player who can operate in nearly any position across the pitch, but most comfortable in centre midfield. Shaun has pace, likes driving into the box and is very skillful on the ball. He won Academy Player of the Year Award last season and was the only player to appear in both games for the Wales semi-pro Youth team last season.

Jamie Wynne - 07/03/94 Midfielder A very talented player who is an ever present in the U 19's side and into his fifth year at the academy. A fully committed player who is good on the ball and possesses a great will to win and succeed. Operates in central midfield, is good in the air who also gets his share of goals over the season. |
Danny Forde - 08/01/86 Midfielder Salford-born former Oldham Athletic trainee who had spells at Barrow and Ashton United before joining the club in January 2008. A tenacious midfielder who adds bite and skill to the team. He has been a regular in for Nomads, apart from six months in Australia and New Zealand during the second half of season 10/11.

Alan Hooley - 13/10/78 Midfielder Alan is a Chester-born left-sided player who started with Christleton FC before joining Newtown in 2005. Two seasons later, Alan signed for Airbus UK then moved to Nomads in January 08. After a short spell at Flint he returned to Nomads in July 2009. Although a midfielder, Alan also plays at left back when required |
Jordan Beck - 17/02/94 Midfielder Jordan comes from a Flintshire footballing family and represented Wales in the semi-pro youth teams win in Ireland last season. He also trialled with Wigan Athletic. He's a regular in the Nomads U-19’s Double winning team and already has several first team starts under his belt.

Ricky Evans - 24/09/76 Midfield Highly talented midfielder who spent three years at Oldham Athletic and whose career has taken in no less than 10 Welsh Premier clubs. A Welsh semi-professional international who also previously played for Gap Queens Park in the Cymru Alliance. Ricky signed for Nomads in January 2012 and scored our goal of the season in the crucial home win over Rhyl.

Robert Jones - 23/06/89 Midfield Rob signed for Nomads in January 2010 from Castrol Social, the Ellesmere Port based West Cheshire League club. Following a series of impressive displays, Rob has become established on the right flank and in midfield in recent months |
George Baxter - 17/02/94 Forward 18 year-old George made his first team debut in the Welsh Cup quarter-final win over UWIC last season and scored his first senior goal against Ruthin Town three days later. A diminutive player who appears to have the ability to make a name for himself in the future. George has also had representative honours with the North East Wales F A. |
Rhys Healey - 06/12/94 Forward A young striker who has gone from strength to strength. Still only 17 but has already scored several goals at first team level. A talented striker who can beat players with ease and has a great finish. Trialled at Stoke City and Manchester City last season and also played for Welsh Colleges and the North East Wales FA
