FLINT TOWN MISS OUT ON WPL PROMOTION

FLINT WILL BE RUING THE DEDUCTION OF 3 POINTS EARLIER THIS SEASON FOR FAILING TO FULFIL A FIXTURE. Without the points loss town would have finished 2nd in The Alliance and been promoted to the WPL. Their 3rd place finish enabled Cwmbran Town to escape relegation.
With Nomads ground sharing at Flint next season, the mouth watering prospect of two home WPL derbies, would surely have captured the imagination of both teams supporters and ensured good crowds and a keen local rivalry. Alas! its not to be. Nomads wish Flint the best of luck in their endeavours for promotion next season.
