Nomads ruthlessly demolished a game Rhos Aelwyd team with the irrepressible Mike Hayes scoring 4 goals for the second match in succession to become the HGAs current leading goalscorer. On any other day, Dean Thurston's accompanying hat-trick would have been headline news.

By the 24th Minute Nomads were already out of sight with a 4-0 lead from a hat-trick of goals by Mike Hayes in the 3rd, 12th and the 24th minute, with a Dean Thurston goal sandwiched in between in the 18th minute. Nomads maintained their 4-0 lead going into half time, but Rhos Aelwyd reduced the arrears early in the second half with Wayne Philips scoring from the spot in the 48th minute.

Whilst Nomads continued to threaten throughout the remainder of the game, few could have anticipated the late flurry of goals to come in the final minutes. Durston scored again for Nomads in the 88th minute and then completed his hat-trick with a penalty in the 90th minute. Not to be outdone, Hayes scored his 4th of the day for Nomads in the 92nd minute.

Following on from last weeks 5-1 thrashing of Llangefni, Nomads resounding and well deserved 7-1 win against Rhos Aelwyd put Nomads back on top of the HGA league table and sent the Nomads supporters home in raptures again.
