Strange formation, and selection tonight, we should be beating teams like that tonight. I was expecting a lot more from Airbus, they were a poor team. We were wasting time as if we were playing for a draw, i have never in my life seen a team waste time in the first 30 mins like we were, i could here jim and andy shouting on to pritch to keep hold of the ball at his feet until the oppisition come to him, i felt embarrassed to have a quay scarf on at that point. Then second half we stuck to wasting time and chances, im very dissapointed, we could have been home and dry tonight with a win. Now we have to go and win on all accounts saturday. I wont be there, im not paying to watch a team waste time like that, what a joke, jim and andy take a good look at yourselves on that, the game was a 6 pointer now if we get beat by porthmadog saturday we are in **** street. Please say i wasnt the only one who seen this???????????????????????/

Yes rob i seen that and so did many more of both sets of fans, i was cringeing, there fans were laughing at us. It could prove to be a big point but we could easily have beat them if we done 4/4/2. I couldnt understand why courtney and herbert were dropped and cooke put in as a lone striker when he is clearly lacking fitness? the game was crying out for us to just go for it and win, im really dissapointed aswell and from what i was listening to last night so were a few others that were watching.

another two points dropped in my opinion,we should have won this game easily, against a tall central defence like airbus herbie would have been ideal to win the ball, pritch had only one save of note to make, but we had chances both halfs, cooke, white and tigger could have scored, can't understand why jim changed it second half when we looked to be getting on top, taking white off when he was the liveliest of the forwards and mcnutt,it just took the pressure off the airbus defence, lets hope we can do the business on saturday.

Remind me never to go drinking with you three, my glass would only ever be half full. So what if we didn't win, with most of our results away ending in big defeats I was happy with one point. It gives us 30 points with 4 games to play, which is a lot more than you doom and gloom mongers thought we'd get.

The wind was a factor to the game, and why shouldn't we waste time when playing against it? but don't let that stop you being embarrassed about wearing a Nomads scarf. Rob Hills your a joke, the game wasn't a six pointer, we don't need to win Saturday and I don't remember any time wasting in the second half, then again I'm sure that you see more than I do from your perch in cloud cuckoo land.

I spoke to the players and they management after the game and they were more than happy to have got another point on the board.

One plus about you not paying to watch the Nomads waste time on Saturday is that we won't have to read the **** that you write.

Bring back Tin Tin and Quaypurr, at least this board got two sides to every match rather than the constant negatives that come from our supposed hard core supporters.

Listen wheato, you constantly defend the management even when they done wrong, we were wasting time, and just never wanted to go and get the win which i find crazy when we are playing such apoor side. And if that is true about the players being happy with a point, then we deserve to be where we are in the league, if players and management dont believe we can win the game. I think every person at airbus stadium last night would agree we only needed to get an extra man on upfront and we could have ran riot. I also agree with owain g white was playing well not sure about mcnutt it was one of his quieter games, as usual we had to use all 3 subs but at wrong times and wrong positions!! but for me that formation the only 1 to play upfront should have been herbie he is big and wins more headers than cooke, i was standing near a few commitee members and they were also saying that he should have been there instead of cooke.

I'd have liked to have seen Herbert get a run too, the home side were given too much time for much of the game. Had every game this season finished 0 x 0 we would still be on the same number of points but we would not have had half as much drama. There will be more points to play for in every game left as they are all likely to be dead rubbers after Saturday.

Whilst I am not in a position to argue with your analysis of the game because I wasn't there, You have made several statements that are questionable. If they looked poor on the night, maybe we made them look poor. They have only lost one of their last 7 games, so they are obviously not a poor side.

Fri 15 Feb 2008 Welsh Premier League Llangefni Town A 3-0 368
Sat 23 Feb 2008 Welsh Premier League Neath Athletic H 2-1 105
Sat 1 Mar 2008 Welsh Premier League Porthmadog FC A 2-2 189
Sat 8 Mar 2008 Welsh Premier League Caernarfon Town A 3-0 79
Sat 15 Mar 2008 Welsh Premier League Newtown AFC H 1-1 140
Sat 22 Mar 2008 Welsh Premier League Haverfordwest County A 0-4 201
Tue 1 Apr 2008 Welsh Premier League Connah's Quay Nomads H 0-0 151

Also given that we have conceded 14 goals in our last 4 away games, it was an achievement to keep a clean sheet and even more important that we didn't lose. Personally, I am happy with the result and hope we can match it, or go one better at Porthmadog. Your memories are short. We started the season as no hopers and relegation certainties. The achievements of this management team is nothing short of remarkable, given the obstacles that they faced since the start of this season.

it seems to be theselections, manner of the performance and the negative attitude of the tactics set out that people seem to have a problem with today.

but you have to face facts, we are not a good side and the quality players we have dont play every week in favour of obvious favourites many of who are not good enough in many fans opinions. iplus some good players who should have been in have left the club due to lack of chances. ts not fair to single out now those not good enough but if you were to rate every player out of 10 for the season it would be obvious.

lets hope we do improve. soon. perhaps some of our reserves would improve things given a chance?

Wivey the start of the season is long gone now so why keep going back to it? the management have had enough time to get the side sorted, and for me we are much better team now than before january, but jim and andy got it wrong last night without a doubt. Airbus regardless of there recent results were poor last night and were there for the taking, but jim and andy couldnt see that we only needed to throw an extra striker on, it was very frustrating on the line to see. We no doubt played for a point, when we should always go for all 3 points regardless of who it is.

I just wished i stayed at home to watch Utd play, i left 10 mins before the end as the game was sooooooo boring. Why jim and andy left our 2 main strikers out is beyond me herbert and courtney have looked the part in recent weeks, they constantly get taken off, (as mentioned on another post) when they should be staying on, and now they have even been dropped, i couldnt believe we played 1 up front, and also was surprised it was cooke, when you play 1 upfront that lone striker has to win his headers, be mobile and work his nuts off and for me only herbie out of our current squad can do that!!! im not saying that cooke isnt good enough, but i just feel he was the wrong person for the job. I hope the management get the formation back to 4.4.2 for saturday, we want to win games not draw games!!!!!!!!!

I thought it was a quite even match, but i always did feel that you looked much better on the attack, ive got to go with a few of your posts that you should have gone with 2 up top if you wanted to win, i too was laughing that you were wasting time it seemed like your team had no bottle to go for it.!!!!!!

I think some of the people commenting are being too harsh on Jim and Andy. A point was a good result, there's no getting away from that. And although I said earlier that I would have liked to have seen Herbie running at their back four, I should have added that I knew that he was injured, as pointed out by Andy Lee on this board recently.

Let's look at the positives - a clean sheet, and great performances from each of the back four. Tommy switched to the left without any noticable compromise in his performance, Bungle and even more so Ben Alston were commanding in the middle and Wayne Morgan lasted a good 90 odd minutes without faltering. I thought we gave the ball away too easily though and that there was no great concern with playing through the middle in favour of clearing the lines in the dreaded 'hit and hope' style.

All being well my matchday buddy KP and I will be going to Y Traeth on Saturday, it's a fabulous setting and well worth a day out for the location alone.

Its not sticking up for the management its more a case of sticking up for the club, your a bunch of fannies, would you rather we went for it and lost 5-0 or played defensively and earned a decent point that could keep us up???

owain G I’m surprised you decided to put a negative comment on here; you never do that, do you???

I find it all a bit of a joke, when did we turn into TNS or Llanelli, reason I say this because surely they should be the only two sides disappointed with a point shouldn’t they!!!

One last thing before I leave you bunch of muppets, how many of you actually went and told Andy or Jim that you found it embarrassing, I bet not a single one of you, your a big bunch of pussies, stand up and be men, your all big on your computers whining but step up, I find you all to be embarrassing as Nomads supporters crying on a message board but doing nothing about it, hahaha jokers!!!!

Interesting debate. If any one of White, Jones, Forde or Cook had taken their scoring chance last night no one would have been on here mentioning tactics, poor management or players.

Hold on though, Nomads were only playing for a draw weren't they so those chances didn't reflect the game. Thank god we didn't score.

wheato, I don't agree with your choice of words, as it borders on being abusive and I have worked hard to cut out the abuse on this site, even at the expense of losing some regular posters. Please cut out the personal comments.

However, I do agree with the sentiments of your post, given that our management have been willing to answer fans questions and criticism directly all season, both on here and personally at games. It's perhaps no surprise, that 4 out of 5 of the critics on this thread, have also failed to register with an email address, as I have repeatedly asked them to do. They could all be from the same person!!!

Please register properly or you are at risk of being banned. I don't want to lose any posters and you are all entitled to your opinion. Your anonymity is protected by your user/nick name when you register, so you can still hide behind your pseudonym

Wheato you must be a player or part of the management to be talking like that. Apart from you no one has been on here saying it was a good performance or result, this point could be huge come the end of the season, but it should have been 3 points if we werent so negative in our formation. Our 2 best strikers were left out, one of which is our top scorer, and we only bothered to put one of them on 10 mins to go, it just proves we never even tried to go for 3 points, you just cant argue it. Even one of there fans has been on to say it. We can put it right on saturday now against Porthmadog which i think, if we go there with the same attitude in our style of play we will get beat, but if we go for the win with 4.4.2 we could easily put a needed 3 points on the board.
