It's still a record equalling defeat. I'm sorry but that is just not good enough. Probably like everyone I'm truely devastated by this defeat.

DR, lift your chin up matey! It could have been worse! All the team need our support through thick and thin and as supporters, we need to lift each other as well.

I dont feel as raw as I did with the Bangor hammering so lets look forward to the lads coming home, at least we can all cheer on our support and have a beer afterwards.

After watching the highlights on tele I dont feel too down. I saw some obvious mistakes and the management will see that too and iron it out Im sure.

Did you see the state of the pitch?I dont suppose playing in a cess-pit helped the poor lads. I hope they dont come home with foot and mouth disease :oD the players looked like they'd been mud wrestling. That match should have been abandoned, most of the other S/W games had?

A terrible result I know, but theres always tomorrow! Onwards and upwards! :-)

Listen how can we keep backing jim and the lads when these big scores keep coming why are cooke and herbert on the bench when they should both be starting if fit, we had no defender on the bench and how come we only had 3 subs? It just proves that people saying that the score last weekend flatered llanelli was total rubbish. I couldnt get there again this week but im so glad i never now. Jim and andy are sticking with lads that are useless and would not get in most sunday league teams, the subs must have been gutted coming on at half time at 6.0 down what can they do about the score line in that situation. Ido hope jim knows a few players to bring in, because i heard that he knows no one to get here. Hope my informer is wrong!! Iseen it on the tv last night and we were a joke. Macca and melia missed good chances and terrible again at the back. Huge game on saturday now.

The management and team will get my usual 100% support on Saturday, at the end of the day we're all in this together. However, I do feel now is the time for management and players to stand up and be counted. Saturday, if the game is playable has now become a massive match for us and I feel we need to desperately win this game.

Raider, These are indisputable facts.

Jim Hackett stated in advance on this website that he was likely to start with the same eleven that held Llanelli for the first 79 minutes of the game and that's exactly what happened. He also explained that Herbert and Cooke were left out last week because they were not fit to train and why he was limited for financial reasons as to how many players he could have in his squad. The obvious conclusion is that Herbert and Cooke would be sub's this week if they trained. With current injuries, the only two other players that are available for selection were Hitchin and Petrie. Jim acknowledged publicly on TV on Saturday, that in the time he had available, he assembled the best squad he could and that the results are showing that the current squad is not good enough and needs strengthening. Do you dispute any of these facts.

I understand your sense of frustration and despair at Nomads current plight, but when Nev left, seven players followed him and 3 others went elsewhere. Jim had no chance of signing any of them. The club originally offered the post to Alan Morgan in the hope of continuity and keeping some of the players, but having said he wanted the job he changed his mind and followed Nev, wasting two more precious weeks in our search for a replacement Manager.

With time fast running out and and having had discreet approaches to other potential Managers with WPL experience rejected, the Club appointed Jim Hackett. He was undoubtedly the best applicant available and offered our only hope of WPL survival. By the time Jim was appointed it was well known throughout Wales that the club was in total crisis and no WPL players wanted to come here. Jim's contacts offered us the only opportunity to recruit players from outside the WPL. As most of the players that were brought in had never played WPL football, before the start of the season it was not known if they would measure up.

Since then it's become clear to me you and Jim, that some of them aren't good enough. Until the new year. there is nothing else that Jim can do but make the best with what he has got. When the transfer window opens, it's up to Jim to sign some replacements that are good enough. After then, like all Managers he will stand or fall by his results, if we get relegated. He can save this club from the biggest crisis that it has ever had. And that was the situation that Nev left us in. No Manager, no players and no hope.

It's to early to start judging the Managers tactics or ability to keep us in the WPL and he has to be given the time to do it. Ideally we need more players with proven WPL experience. Whether we can attract them in our current situation remains to be seen, if not we have to go elsewhere.

Wivey to be fair u have a lot of good points that cannot be debated... if these better wpl players are available in jan and that is a big iff.. could we afford them ...wud we then be forced to make decisions about extra coaches/against getting better players in to make us stay up

massive game against llangefni ....and most of our side were in the team that beat tns so a bit of beleif could see us getting the 3 points / but even a point would be a great result after the last month we have had

Van Basten, most of our players are on pay as you play contracts, so new players will be replacements for the ones that aren't good enough and they will be released. Obviously the budget is limited, but I am confident that if the right players are available at the right price, Jim will rejig his budgets and sign them. Two payers that are known to be good enough will be better for the Club that four who are not.

Perhaps I should add for the benefit of any of our existing players, that some of them have already proved that they are good enough and there are others who still have something to prove and time to prove it. But it must be obvious both to them and us that the squad as a whole has to be improved to ensure our survival.

i drove down to the game on saturday,it was a hell of a long way to go to watch a performance like this,the pitch was'nt too bad considering the rain that had fallen in the days before,the wind also did'nt make a difference,it was a very poor performance from the team in the first 30 mins,we were so square at the back and kept getting caught out,but we don't have the brains to adjust our game plan,we held off them instead of getting close,giving them more time on the ball to do the damage,the second half was just a case of them taking their foot of the gas or else it could have been double figures,they hit the post twice and missed a penalty,we were lucky it was'nt 13 or 14 nil,i won't go on about individual players as it has been said in previous post mortems,but i don't think many of them can hold their heads up and think they did alright.

all this talk about bringing in better players in the transfer window has been going on now for a few months,i've said it before i don't think the players are out there,all the decent players should be already at teams,and i don't think anybody would want to come to a team in freefall like us,the recent financial cuts in players wages means we don't have the spending muscle of other teams,it could also mean that some of our better players leave rather than get caught up in a relegation battle where we are obviously headed,to get out of this we are going to have to show some fighting spirit and dig deep,no player would want the stigma of being part of the team that took us down so hopefully between them,they can address the situation,starting with llangefni on saturday.

ive not heard about any financial to players, where did you hear that. If thats the case there is obviously no chance of any new lads coming in unless there desperate. So it looks like this bunch of lads are going to have to do it the hard way. Hope we can do it. Lets start saturday hey....
