CN, I couldn't get to the game on tuesday because of work - but I have said before and stick to it that macca and herbert is not a strike force. I don't think they can play effectively together?

i don't know how they looked on tuesday, and I know they both scored on Saturday, but remain unconvinced. Maybe though, we have to go that way until Dickinson returns or we sign another striker?

I have read who played well on tuesday, no surprises there - did Cook play? and how did the keeper do? for me that is another area that needs addressing but is rarely mentioned.

SR how can you say they are not a strike force they played 1 game together (which you obviously wasnt at) and both scored in a tight game and both looked the part to say the least... And on tuesday (another game you wasnt at) were working hard together and were 2 of our better players again but had no chances to go at. Ive said it for a while they are our best 2 strikers at the minute let them have there chance hey.

Yes i agree with moores, they are the 2 top strikers at the club at present, the quick lads that have been tried have not done enough to keep a place. Both scoring saturday will give them confidance for this weeks game. I also agree they looked a good pairing on tuesday night considering they had little service, i mean macca and herbie created more than our wingers, doesnt that tell you something?????????????????????

Mickey i know they have both scored in the one game they played together (2 after Tue actually!)

My point is I think they are quite similar and there may be only room in the 11 for one of them, plus another 'different' type of striker. Yes I agree we maybe dont have that at the minute but I said longer term I think this is what we need. Both are decent players, Macca in my opinion is better all round but time will tell if they can.

As for the point about wide players, maybe for them to be successful as a pair they need service from out wide to be successful - perhaps this is a bigger issue than pairing them together?

I apologise for not going to the game on Tuesday, please forgive me!

How about my last question on Cook and the keeper -can you throw any light on this?

Forrester played well, as he did at Bangor last week and was again effectively vocal throughout.

BVB asks who was missing - Cook was rested along with Pritchard, Pinch, White and Kilgannon. Williams, Dickenson, Morgan and Roche were absent through injury.

george - I was writing about Rhyl fans in last Nomads v Rhyl league fixture at Deeside Stadium couple of years ago. You carry on the good work.

Yes sr i agree with most of that. Macca and herbie are quite the same but when i was watching sat and tues they looked to be comunicating well, like they hed been playing together for a while. They are both experianced players and i think this season we need that. Me personaly think it is a bit of a desperate situation on the wings, White lookeed good on saturday but he is very hot and cold, you can sometimes see why never fetured much at this level, maybe this is the chance he needs.

I also thought McCallister and Herbie combined well at Caersws, and on current form they are the two best options upfront. White has been one of the suprises of the season for me and on Saturday he was excellent cutting in from the flanks, he caused problems all game for both full-backs.

They may be the men in form DR it just depends whether the way we play means they can forge a successful partnership?

I hope White can continue his run of good form, he will be an assett if so, and will Cook come back into the squad, he seems to have missed out lately - I thought earlier in the season he looked bright but his performances have dwindled of late.

Be good to get Bungle back if he does play tomorrow, not only for the lad himself but it will free others up who have had to shuffle round in his absence - this should give us a better balance all over? Is Morgan fit again yet?

Looking forward to the game tomorrow, hope we can progress!
