Oh dear. I've become accustomed to being 'attacked' on the internet by the opposition but this is beyond the pail.

i think every1 has a opnion at a football match they can do what ever they want sit down drink there brovil but we are going to come on tuesday and sing our heads off why are you guys saying its a crime but your not gunna get rid of the barmy army cause were gunna cheer all match and if you dont like it tough

i think george if you read the posts,you'll see nobody said it's a crime,what people are saying is they don't want be made to feel as if they have to join in,not everybody has the same enthusiasim as you and your mates who were brilliant last week,let's hope you go from strength to strength.

Hi George, welcome on board. Maybe you should read through the thread properly. Nobody has said don't make a noise, as you said yourself everybody has a right to do what they want at the match. We've had to put up with morgue/pin drop/ golfing day out comments all season, that to me has been trying to bully people into making noise. But hey the debate has been done to death now, surely?

For what it's worth George, the club needs some young supporters on board, that is something I totally agree with TT, QP about, and although I must have typed it in foreign or cryptic code(as nobody seems to have actually seen it) I did say well done to anybody who gets off their arse and comes to watch the Quay, rather than watching Dundee on sultana sports or some other pointless task on a Saturday afternoon. The singing etc, is not my cup of tea anymore, I've been there and done that, but you boys should feel free to make yourselves heard.

Also, I thought the Cookie song was top draw!

This is the 47th post in this thread. The longest ever thread on this message board was one headed "training" just after Jim was appointed, and that had 50 posts. (I Have access to all sort of stats on the admin board)

Just an afterthought, the other thread went on over weeks, whereas this one only started on friday lunchtime. It was obviously a topic that people felt passionate about and to thrash those sort things out between ourselves is always a good thing, I think. It just illustrates the variety of valid ways of supporting our Nomads Team

at the end of the day we are all fans and we all want our boys to do well but we want to sing to get behind the boys which will hopefully produce results were not trying to force you to sing but when people just stare at you cause your singing its not nice

Understand what your saying George. It's just that it's not really the norm in the Welsh Prem, let alone at a small club like CQ. There's only one club with support like that, and that's the sunny army of Rhyl. I think Boxing Day could be a very interesting clash now, and I'll bring my reinforced flat cap for that one.

This thread certainly has been very interesting for me...................I hope that we can all pull in the same direction from now on.

Loud or not, at the end of the Day we are all supporting the same team and we all want the same end result.

As DR has stated, WPL support is largely a tad muted but if we truly do intend on moving to a new stadium, then we have to show that there is the support base to justify it.

By the way DR, I personally prefered the physio song to Cookie's. ;-)

The referee was utter shite. He couldnt make a decent decision if it was handed to him on a plate. The only thing consistent about the refs and linesmen in the WPL is their inconsistency. Ive never seen anything like it. Its like a game of pot luck. Absolutely dire decisions.

The atmosphere was good where we were sat, really pleased with the Barmy Army - good on you lads, keep revved up for Saturday!

As for the Rhyl fans, getting little 6 year olds to shout such filth is shameful.

I was generally pleased with tonights performance. The lads are getting in there and were just unlucky tonight.

You will have to get used to the Rhyl fans Quay-Purr. They have always been a bunch of idiots. They are so arrogant in their support that they fail to realise that it's a Welsh Premier League team that they actually support. They think they are big time and they think they are something special but the only thing special about them is the abnormal amount of fingers they have and their webbed feet.

Seriously though, Ive had a baptism of fire supporting GTFC all my life, if its been done, Ive seen it all. A handful of scouse wannabe yobs is nothing compared to what Ive seen.

Ive been fully informed what the Rhyl fans are renowned for and its a shame they take it so seriously. If their passion was redirected in a more constructive manner, they would be fully respected as fans, shame really, what a waste!
